Grant is a Sage enthusiast and has the latest Sage fly rods, the P590-4 available for clients' use, which are an absolute pleasure to fish with. All other equipment can be provided if required.

For those who have their own gear, a 5-6, 7-8 wt fly rod is recommended, rod length 9 ft with a floating line of dull colouring, leaders 9-12ft and 3-6lb breaking strain of tippet material.

•  Footwear - wader boots in size 9-12 can be provided, otherwise wear a pair of trainer shoes, which are suitable for wading or bring your own breathable waders for cold days.
• Sunglasses, sunhats, and sunblock are a mandatory requirement as is clothing requirements, dull colours are best suited to the area or natural colours
• Dry Flies - Kakahi Queen, Adams, Black and blue humpty, Dads favourite, Royal Wulff, Loves lure, Green beetle, Elk hair caddis, sizes 10-16.
• Nymphs - Pheasant tail nymph, Kakahi nymph, Horny Case caddis, Hair Copper, Midge Pupa size 12-16. 
• Dry Flies and Nymphs are provided but the above are recommendations should you wish to bring your own.
